Stanley Youngwolfe
One of my favorite characters to write surprised me. Stanley, a Native American college student, with shaman family roots, started out odd, but became a person I wanted to know better. When Stanley says, “My purpose is to make the situation open for alignment but not to direct or interpret. It’s too easy for me to put my own spin on things, unconsciously. It isn’t ethical...I’m not a medium or a wizard or anything like that. I’m a descendant of generations of shamans. It’s sacred to me and powerful...but it is there for you if you choose to look. I’m like an outdated GPS. I point you in a general direction, get you close, but you have to find the way yourself. It’s your journey,” I fell in love with him.
